A home buyer sues their real estate agent. Legal analyst says it’s unusual and there’s no real merit for the case. The burden of proof is likely too great. This bothers me a little because while the law is in favor of the agent, I feel that the buyer may not have been duly represented and she has little or no recourse if the real estate agent was actually negligent. Isn’t it the duty of the agent to represent their client BECAUSE the client is ignorant of the market and home purchase process? Or is this a case of buyers remorse?
